Description

This beer mug by Shusaku Taku is crafted by fermenting the daily inspirations of life into form, embodying Bizen ware that has matured alongside the continuous activities of people through the ages. The clay was not kneaded into a homogeneous mixture, but was instead fired while intentionally retaining a marble-like pattern. The lower section, featuring a caramel-colored surface with traces of ash glaze and iron, matches perfectly with the upper section, which evokes a sandstorm streaked with crimson lightning. The rim is exceptionally thin, promising a clean pour that will make this a staple for the coming season.
