Description

This beer mug is the work of Shusaku Taku, an artist who shapes his creations using the daily inspirations he gathers as "yeast," while honoring Bizen ware, a craft that has matured alongside the continuous activities of people throughout history. The clay was not blended for uniformity, but instead intentionally fired to retain a marbled pattern. The rim features a vividly colored *hidasuki* (fire-cord) mark, which serves as a perfect bridge between the *goma* (ash glaze) and the marbled texture of the clay. The rim is exceptionally thin, promising a crisp pour and making it an excellent companion for the upcoming season.
