Black square plate

This is a black square plate by Takashi Baba, who was born in Imbe and has loved Bizen ware since childhood, finding his life's joy in creating works and firing kilns. The design shows meticulous attention to every detail, and elements such as the rim, which combines both incised and cut techniques, reflect the passion of Mr. Baba, who strives to ensure his work never ceases to captivate the viewer. The design, reminiscent of a woodblock-printed paisley pattern from folk costumes, perfectly matches the well-crafted plate. It is a work that evokes a sense of poetry, characteristic of Mr. Baba, who is always conceiving and shaping new forms. Paper box
