Description
This is a new Bizen black katakuchi (sake server) fired in the new kiln of Takashi Baba, who was born in Imbe and has loved Bizen ware since childhood, finding his life's joy in creating works and firing kilns. Due to the firing in the new kiln and seasonal factors, the sesame glaze has taken on a matte ash-gray hue, while the black body has become a metallic black with a subtle bluish-gold sheen. The shimmering gradient of blue and black clay is truly beautiful, and the way the facets refract the light further accentuates this beauty. The interior is generously coated with sesame glaze, ensuring that you can fully enjoy not only the beautiful design but also its excellent functionality.
