Description
A new Bizen sake flask by Kazuki Nakamura, an artist who carries on the tradition of master sake-ware potters Rokuro and Makoto Nakamura to create deeply flavorful works. By further pressing his fingers into the pot-bellied body, he has imbued the piece with strength without sacrificing its rounded form. The kiln-altered markings emerge in lines characteristic of Kazuki Nakamura's unique styling, with scarlet hues and dry sesame glaze (kase-goma) intersecting like a taijitu symbol. The combination of the slightly whitish, dry kase-goma and the rich, ripe-persimmon-red clay is truly captivating.
