Description
This is a Bizen sake cup by Tamon Kaneshige, who continues to hone his craft on the rigorous path of pottery, following in the footsteps of his father, the late Susumu Kaneshige. This sake cup, possessing an elegant air even among drinking vessels, features Tamon's signature withered firing style, resulting in a quiet, composed piece that nonetheless retains the excellent quality of the clay. The interior showcases a beautiful expanse of scarlet skin born from carefully selected clay, allowing you to enjoy observing the changes in the earth's character as the aroma of your sake unfolds. A unique, white, snow-like *kase-goma* (dry ash glaze) has emerged, creating a stunning contrast with the scarlet hue.
Signed wooden box to be provided at a later date (please allow some time for shipping).
