Description
This Bizen sake cup is by the popular young artist Yoshiteru Koriki, a former apprentice to the master Sozan Kaneshige. It features a deep red earthen texture characteristic of Koriki-sensei’s work, which promises to develop a beautiful patina with use. The interior reveals a small, half-moon-shaped "nuke" (fire mark), a delightful detail that shows true consideration for the user. Its cup shape allows the aroma of the sake to expand, making it easy for anyone to enjoy, and it comes in a paulownia wood box, making it an excellent gift.
Signed paulownia box (shiho-san style)
