Description

This is a tea-room style incense container, a previous work by Hikaru Shimamura, an artist who inherits the traditional genre of fine ceramics with a unique sensibility and creativity. As part of his tea-room series produced in the past, this piece combines intricate craftsmanship with a sophisticated, lighthearted touch. The tea room, which fits in the palm of your hand, is utterly charming; it was born from a fresh, vibrant sensibility and even evokes a sense of daily life. The stunning scarlet kiln-change effects draped over the thatched roof further enhance the work's level of perfection. (As the original cloth and ceramic biography are not included, we have provided our own.)
