Description
This is a white-glazed sake cup by Tomoyuki Oiwa, who has made his long-awaited debut after learning the potter's craft under Ryuichi Kakurezaki. Its unique, sharp-edged form features a dynamic, freely poured glaze, resulting in a fresh and lively style. The way the glaze pools along the edges creates a sense of light and shadow across the piece, evoking the scene of melting light snow. The entire base is finished with *hi-dasuki* (fire-cord) markings, providing a perfect accent of crimson to the world of white and beige.
