Description
This sake cup possesses a tranquil charm, with the artist's signature serenity subtly complemented by a "botan" (peony) fire-marking pattern that evokes the quiet atmosphere of a moonlit night. The unique kiln transformation, appearing as a mixture of hard-fired "haikaburi" (ash-covered) glaze and "kase-goma" (crusty sesame ash), creates a mysterious palette of blue, gray, and green hues.
*Please note in advance that there is some peeling of the ash-covered glaze. Original wooden box to be provided at a later date (please allow some time for shipping).
