Description
This is a Hidasuki (fire-cord) teacup from Yoshinobu Morimoto's new exhibition. It features a dynamic form that exudes a free and spirited character, refined through his efforts to process and reinterpret his study of ancient Bizen ware. The surface is smooth and clings to the palm, while the weathered Hidasuki markings evoke a refined sense of wabi-sabi. As you take your time to enjoy your tea, you can nurture and cultivate the elegant, fragrant-like Hidasuki.
