Description
This is a new Bizen sake cup, fresh from the kiln, by Jumpei Kaneshige, the eldest son of the renowned Kosuke Kaneshige, a leading figure of the Kaneshige school. The rim features ash-covered kiln changes (hai-kaburi yohen), while the rest of the piece displays fine, matte-textured sesame glaze (kase-goma), creating a landscape known as "kase yohen." It also features a soft, refined firing mark on the front, making it a luxurious piece that allows you to enjoy the changing scarlet hues while the matte sesame glaze develops further over time. The slightly larger, robust form combined with its exquisite landscape creates an impressive presence, perfect for enjoying sake heartily and generously, just as the name "guinomi" suggests.
