Description
This is a Bizen sake cup by Jumpei Kaneshige, the eldest son of Kosuke Kaneshige, a leading figure of the Kaneshige lineage. The piece is fired to a slightly softer finish, featuring a rich, ripe-persimmon-like scarlet hue that will surely delight any sake enthusiast. A similarly soft scarlet tone appears on the interior, offering the pleasure of watching it evolve over time. Large throwing lines are concealed along the body, and its form allows for a firm, comfortable grip, making it a joy to use.
