Description
This Bizen mug is the work of Yoshiteru Koriki, a popular young ceramic artist who studied as an apprentice under the master Sozan Kaneshige. The fine, uneven surface texture characteristic of unglazed Bizen ware creates a finer foam when pouring beer. By pouring your beer in two or three separate stages, you can create beautiful layers of foam. Additionally, by chilling the mug before use, you will not only enjoy a pleasantly cool sensation, but the damp surface will take on a truly stunning appearance.
