Description
This is a Bizen sake cup, a brand-new release from the kiln of Kazuki Nakamura, an artist who continues the legacy of masters Rokuro and Shin Nakamura to create deeply expressive works. Refined over three generations, the piece showcases form and clay quality thoughtfully crafted specifically for the enjoyment of sake. The carved foot is deeply gouged and undulating, increasingly reminiscent of his grandfather, Rokuro Nakamura. Just as sake is made from nothing but rice and water, this cup is made from nothing but earth and fire; their exceptional harmony will surely transform the time you spend drinking into a deeper and more refined experience.
Signed wooden box (double-crosspiece lid)
