Description
This Bizen sake cup is a brand-new piece, fresh from the kiln by Kazuki Nakamura, a potter whose work possesses a profound depth that follows in the tradition of masters Rokuro and Makoto Nakamura. The form and earthy texture, perfected over three generations of study and refined specifically for the enjoyment of sake, are truly magnificent. The spatula work on the foot rim, with its deep, undulating gouges, seems to increasingly resemble that of his grandfather, Rokuro Nakamura. Just as sake is made from nothing but rice and water, this cup is made from nothing but earth and fire; their exceptional harmony will undoubtedly transform your drinking experience into something far more profound and refined.
