Description
This is a freshly kiln-fired Bizen sake cup by Kazuki Nakamura, an artist who creates profoundly tasteful works in the lineage of the master sake vessel craftsmen Rokuro Nakamura and Makoto Nakamura. The form and earthy quality, meticulously considered as tools for enjoying sake, reflect three generations of honed expertise. The carving of the foot rim, with its deep, undulating gouges into the clay, feels increasingly reminiscent of his grandfather, Rokuro Nakamura. Just as sake is crafted from nothing but rice and water, this cup is born of nothing but earth and fire; their exceptional harmony will surely transform the time you spend drinking into a much deeper, more refined experience.
