Description
This is a new Bizen sake cup by Yoshiteru Koriki, a popular young artist and former live-in apprentice to the master Sozan Kaneshige. This latest piece, fired in the spring of 2016, features a stunning scarlet hue that reflects an incredibly successful kiln firing. The scarlet color, which becomes even more beautiful when wet, is present both inside and out, perfectly showcasing the charm of Bizen ware that is a joy to both use and cultivate over time. Its convenient size makes it suitable for shochu as well as a variety of other beverages.
