Description

This is a newly kiln-fired Bizen sake cup by Yoshinobu Morimoto, an artist with an exceptional aesthetic sense who is constantly evolving in his approach to clay, firing, and craftsmanship. Reflecting the work of an artist who pours his heart into the study of antique ceramics, this magnificent cup features a unified body of profound yellow sesame glaze and a uniquely alluring clay texture. The clay itself has a rich, ochre hue reminiscent of melted chocolate, which pairs perfectly with the vibrant yellow sesame markings. The base is crafted with a slight thickness, giving the piece a robust and powerful presence. Box to be provided at a later date (please allow some time for shipping).
