Description

This is a new Bizen beer mug by the popular young artist Yoshiteru Koriki, a former apprentice to the master Sozan Kaneshige. It is his latest work, fired in the spring of 2016, and the kiln firing was a great success, resulting in a magnificent *kase-goma* (matte sesame) glaze. Both the interior and exterior reveal a soft orange hue that becomes even more beautiful when wet, perfectly showcasing the charm of Bizen ware, which is a joy both to use and to cultivate over time. The surface, crafted from high-quality mountain clay, features very fine ridges that make beer foam finer and more delicious. Chilling the mug before use will enhance the beauty of its surface and provide a wonderful drinking experience. Paper box
