Description

This is a new Oribe-glazed maple leaf chopstick rest by Koji Nakahara, who studied under Fumio Kawabata and aims to create items that suit modern life. As a unique Bizen-ware artist based in the major city of Osaka, Nakahara creates pieces for chefs at various high-end restaurants and ryotei; this chopstick rest reflects his signature stylish and practical design. The slightly concave maple leaf shape allows it to be used not only as a chopstick rest but also as a small dish for condiments. The fresh green of the Oribe glaze evokes the image of a young maple leaf, making it the perfect accent for your dining table. Paper box
Approx. 7.0cm diameter × 7.3cm diameter × 2.4cm height
