Description
This Bizen sake cup is a brand-new release from the kiln of Kazuki Nakamura, an artist who creates works of profound depth, following in the footsteps of the master sake vessel makers Rokuro Nakamura and Makoto Nakamura. Drawing on the ceramic techniques inherited from his renowned father and grandfather, he masterfully expresses ease of use, the rustic charm of earthenware, and the ability to enhance the flavor of sake. This flat-shaped cup is highly regarded among sake connoisseurs for its quality; while enjoying the way it spreads the aroma, you can also savor the view of the scarlet full moon inside the bowl. The soft, matte sesame glaze (kase-goma) covering the surface resembles tree bark, yet it feels pleasant and smooth to the touch. Furthermore, after finishing your drink, you can enjoy the powerful foot trim inherited from his grandfather, making this a piece full of highlights.
