Description
This Bizen gourd-shaped sake bottle is a brand-new piece, fresh from the kiln of Kazuki Nakamura, an artist who creates deeply evocative works, carrying on the legacy of master sake vessel craftsmen Rokuro and Shin Nakamura. While following the lineage of these masters, this bottle distinctly reflects Kazuki's unique style, subtly weaving in a character different from that of his father and grandfather. The gourd features a sleek, original form unique to Kazuki, differing from his grandfather's and father's versions. It is shaped into a gentle, quadrangular silhouette reminiscent of the traditional Nakamura-style flattened sake bottles, and it is a piece crafted with meticulous consideration for the user, featuring indentations that fit the fingers perfectly and an angled rim designed for ideal pouring.
