Guinomi God is love “new UTAKATA”

This is the new sake cup, God is love "new Foam," by Toru Ichikawa, who made a sensational debut after studying under Ryuichi Kakurezaki. It is an exceptionally creative work that is quintessential Ichikawa, giving form to his ceaseless flow of ideas through the supreme medium of clay. While the Foam series is known for its beautiful, effervescent platinum glaze accented by gold lines, this piece has been reborn as the God is love new Foam, further refining the bold expression characteristic of Ichikawa-sensei. The base glaze is a dark gray, and the bubbling glaze texture resembles cooling, solidified magma. Furthermore, the sharp gold lines stand out brilliantly against the darker glaze, resulting in a magnificent, opulent finish that is instantly recognizable as Ichikawa-sensei's work. D 7.1cm × D 6.9cm × H 6.7cm Toru Ichikawa was born in Tokyo. He began his apprenticeship under Ryuichi Kakurezaki in June 2011 and became independent in Tamano City, Okayama Prefecture, in January 2015.
