Description
This new Bizen sake cup is the work of Kazuki Nakamura, who crafts pieces with deep character, carrying on the tradition of the master sake vessel makers Rokuro Nakamura and Shin Nakamura. While following in the footsteps of these legendary makers, Kazuki infuses his work with a unique flair that distinguishes his style from that of his father and grandfather. It is a profoundly tasteful piece that inherits the exquisite charm of the flat-style sake cup, a signature of the Nakamura family that is highly sought after by sake enthusiasts. The clay has been fired to perfection, resulting in a texture that beautifully showcases a Shiso-red tone lightly mixed with orange. The interior features a "botamochi" mark that promises to highlight the color of the sake, while the rim is accented with a sophisticated matte "kase-goma" ash glaze.
