Description

Koichiro Isezaki is Jun Isezaki's eldest son.
He uses a tunnel-shaped kiln called an "anagama."
There is a hole in the middle of the anagama for adding small firewood.
The firewood added during the firing process created the black fire patterns on this piece.
This design was created by splitting a clay ball in half or by pulling it by hand.
Although this Guinomi is a very large sake cup, it is easy to hold and light in weight.

He was born in Bizen City, Okayama Prefecture, in 1974 as the eldest son of Jun Isezaki.
He graduated from Tokyo Zokei University in 1996.
He studied ceramics in NY and has been active since 2000.
