Description
This is a Hidasuki (fire-cord) yunomi by Kazuki Nakamura, an artist who creates works of profound taste while following in the lineage of the master sake vessel craftsmen Rokuro Nakamura and Shin Nakamura.
This is a substantial, large-sized yunomi that could also serve well as a shochu cup.
The rich Hidasuki markings stand out vividly against the moist, smooth, mugwort-colored clay, creating a beautiful contrast.
With its undulating rim, generous body, and powerful foot trimming, this piece allows you to fully appreciate the mastery of Kazuki Nakamura's craftsmanship. No box included
Diameter 9.4cm x 9.3cm x Height 7.9cm
*Shipping fee is 500 yen. Kazuki Nakamura was born in 1980 as the eldest son of Shin Nakamura. After graduating from the Faculty of Letters at Okayama University in 2003, he studied under his grandfather and father to refine his ceramic skills.
