Description

He inherits the skills and spirit of Sozan Kaneshige.
The simple, unadorned design highlights the beauty of Bizen clay.
He believes that a piece is only completed in the hands of the user.
This Choko was fired in May 2022.
The two fire patterns, Goma and Hidaski, are difficult to produce beautifully at the same time.
He succeeded by controlling the temperature and devising the placement of this piece within the kiln.

He was born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1970.
He became a disciple of Sozan Kaneshige in 1989.
After the death of Sozan Kaneshige, he became a disciple of Yuhou Kaneshige.
