Description
This Sakazuki was made by Sozan when he was between 60 and 70 years old.
This Hidasuki Sakazuki was fired in an electric kiln.
His electric kiln is equipped with ducts and can burn firewood.
The firing time is about one week, which is quite long.
The firewood flames create a beautiful surface that cannot be achieved by electricity alone.
The high level of preparation has allowed the clay to reach an excellent quality, and the surface is very smooth.
