Description

He is a disciple of Jun Isezaki.
He learned about Jun Isezaki's innovative designs and Anagama firing methods.
This Guinomi was fired in December 2022.
He creates his works using standard Bizen clay, applying black slip after they have dried.
"Kuro" (black) is made from clay with a high iron content.
He adds a small amount of cobalt to the slip after dissolving it in water to liquefy it.
The black clay applied to the work transforms into a beautiful black when fired.
