Description

Koji Nakahara is a potter who works in two locations, Osaka and Bizen.
He is commissioned to create bespoke tableware for a famous restaurant in Osaka.
Meanwhile, in Bizen, he is studying Bizen ware under his mentor, Fumio Kawabata.
He uses an electric kiln to transform Hidasuki into a metallic hue.
He does not mix the clay completely, leaving it uneven.
As a result, the metallic color resembles a tiger pattern.
Susogo is a term used in textile dyeing.
He chose this name because the gradation from pink gold to dark gray is similar.

He was born in Osaka Prefecture in 1978.
He has been a disciple of Fumio Kawabata since 2001.
