Description
He is a disciple of Jun Isezaki.
He completed this work using the hikidashi technique he learned from Jun Isezaki.
Hikidashi means taking the work out of the kiln during firing.
Works exposed to the outside air cool rapidly, resulting in a color different from standard Bizen ware.
In this piece, the attached pine ash becomes transparent, resembling amber.
The black portion is coated with a special clay and turns indigo due to the hikidashi effect.
The simple design allows you to fully appreciate the indigo beauty of this Guinomi.
He was born in 1991 in Hokkaido, Japan.
After graduating from the Design Department of Doto University in 2014, he became a disciple of Jun Isezaki.
