Description

He uses a tunnel-shaped kiln called an "anagama".
This Guinomi was fired in March 2023.
This work is made using special white clay collected in the Imbe area.
He fired it without glaze, but the white clay component produced a fire pattern with a color different from standard Bizen ware.
The outer surface has a luster as if coated with glass.
Originally yellow or brown Goma, which is close to gold, it shifted to muddy white or transparent blue.

He was born in Bizen City, Okayama Prefecture, in 1974 as the eldest son of Jun Isezaki.
He graduated from Tokyo Zokei University in 1996.
He studied ceramics in NY and has been active since 2000.
