Description
This is a Yunomi made by Rokuro Nakamura, who is known as a master of sake ware.
I would guess that this Yunomi is from his later years.
The entire piece is a red clay color, which becomes even more beautiful when moistened.
The Nakamura clan's unique body design makes it very easy to hold.
He was born in Bizen City, Okayama Prefecture in 1914.
He was taught by Toyo Kaneshige from around 1945 and became a potter.
He died in 2004.
