Description
This is a beer glass made by Rokuro Nakamura, who is known as a master of sake ware.
I would estimate that this beer glass was made by him when he was around 60 to 70 years old.
It is about 2 cm taller than his standard beer glass design.
There is ash residue inside from the firing process, and it appears to be unused.
The entire piece is an orange clay color, which becomes even more beautiful when moistened.
The Nakamura family's unique body design makes it very easy to hold.
He was born in Bizen City, Okayama Prefecture, in 1914.
He studied under Toyo Kaneshige starting around 1945 and became a potter.
He passed away in 2004.
