Description
This Guinomi was made by Rokuro Nakamura, who is known as a master of sake ware.
The red clay color on the front makes it even more beautiful when it is wet with sake.
I presume that this Guinomi was fired when he was about 80 years old.
The orange clay color creates a golden effect and is very beautiful.
The beautiful Yohen produced by the fierce fire during the kiln firing is wonderful.
He was born in Bizen City, Okayama Prefecture in 1914.
He was taught by Toyo Kaneshige from around 1945 and became a potter.
He passed away in 2004.
