Description

He is a disciple of Jun Isezaki.
This is his newest work, published at the end of 2024.
This ambitious work combines firing in both wood and kerosene kilns to achieve a rich yet subdued Hidasuki.
Freely exploring new techniques without being bound by tradition, the artist challenges ancient aesthetics with the latest firing knowledge.
The key to the deep, refined tone lies in the carefully controlled kerosene kiln finish, which was perfected through extensive research to create a soft luster and a rich depth of color.
On top of the vivid reddish clay surface, well-fired mustard-colored Kigoma patterns appear,
creating a harmonious and sophisticated atmosphere despite the bold combination of warm colors, red and yellow.

He was born in 1991 in Hokkaido, Japan.
After graduating from the Design Department of Doto University in 2014, he became a disciple of Jun Isezaki.
