Hello everyone, how are you doing?
In the Bizen region, the scorching sun continues, and I have become unable to go without a cold tea.
Now, we have received some shochu cups (can also be used as tea cups) that are a welcome treat for such a hot summer.
The size is perfect for holding plenty of ice, making these pieces ideal for the coming season.

The yellow sesame glaze, fired to the extreme in a way characteristic of Aiga-sensei, is magnificent.
You can also use them as tea cups.

On the back, there is a "sangiri" firing effect that serves as a charming point.
Aiga-sensei's sangiri is dark, thick, and vivid, making it recognizable at a glance.

For this Bizen work, great effort was put into the gradation of the clay texture, and you can fully enjoy the changes in the clay from inside the foot to the waist and the body.
We have received fascinating works that have been carefully selected, which is typical of Aiga-sensei, who makes no compromises.
I would also like to introduce sake cups, beer cups, and hammered plates tomorrow and onwards, so please take a look.
