The other day, a customer sent us some lovely, autumn-themed photos.
Cured Pacific saury is beautifully plated on a refreshing Oribe-ware dish. They have also incorporated the sake flask and other items purchased from our shop, and it all looks absolutely appetizing.
It has been some time since the purchase, but it brings us true happiness to hear how our pieces are being cherished and well-cared for by our customers.
It feels like receiving news from a daughter who has married into another home—a truly wonderful and heart-warming moment.
Now, speaking of autumn, it is time for the Bizen Pottery Festival.
It is also the season for kiln openings in preparation for it.The time of year is finally drawing near, and in the town of Inbe, smoke can be seen rising from chimneys here and there as preparations for the festival get underway.
As announced on our website's home page,
this year's Bizen Pottery Festival will feature an exhibition and sale of masterpieces and new works by modern and contemporary artists at the Kawaguchi Touraku-en storefront.
We are currently renovating the shop for this, so we ask for your understanding if your visit before the full renewal causes any inconvenience.
On the days of the Bizen Pottery Festival, we will also be displaying special items available only at the storefront, so please look forward to it.
We sincerely look forward to welcoming you to our shop.
(A special exhibition for Jun Isezaki is also being held at the Bizen Pottery Art Museum.)
