Hello everyone. Today, I would like to introduce a long plate by Koichiro-sensei. It is part of the same series as the work we introduced two posts ago, but at 37.6cm x 19.5cm, it is a very versatile size. Like the kite-flying piece, Koichiro-sensei has nicknamed this one "Apple," and its large, open space—true to its name—gives it a truly stylish aesthetic. It is a piece well-coated in ash, with gold and black kiln-transmutation effects centered around the "apple" design. While the overall form is rough and energetic—seen in the concentrated lines on the sides and the thick-walled construction—the mechanical precision of the flat-cut base on the back is a testament to Koichiro-sensei's mastery. size: 37.6cm diameter x 19.5cm x 5.7cm height price: 63,000 yen For inquiries regarding this piece, please contact us at the details below.
