Shino-style tea bowl by Yoshiteru Takariki

Hello to all our blog readers. Today, I would like to introduce a rather unique piece: a Shino-style tea bowl fired in Mr. Kōriki’s kiln. Whether it was fired in a Bizen kiln or not, it features a wonderfully soft madder red color. It is truly a shame that the photos cannot capture the gentle hue, which looks as if the color of a sunset has been extracted and mixed with milk. It is a serious, authentic piece, and the deep foot and elegantly rising body are truly lovely. With the soft pink accented by the green of matcha, it feels as though you could bring a touch of early spring right into the palm of your hand. size: diameter 11.7cm × diameter 11.5cm × height 10.6cm price: 28,000 yen (includes original signed box) For inquiries regarding this piece, please contact us at the information below.
