慌ただしくなる備前の秋

The bustling autumn of Bizen

Hello everyone, how are you doing?
The scorching sun has quietly hidden itself away, replaced by the gentle light of autumn.
Cosmos flowers are blooming along the roadsides, and it feels as though the green of the mountains will soon be a sight of the past.

Now, a stark contrast to these calm and cool days,
Bizen is currently bustling with preparations for the festival.
At our shop, we have been busy sourcing works to exhibit, sorting them, and packing them into boxes.
Before I knew it, September was nearly over, and seeing the date just makes me anxious.

Come to think of it, perhaps those of you who are fans of Bizen are currently looking into travel arrangements,
securing accommodations, and planning your itinerary?
This is your chance to meet those artists you have only ever seen in books, so be sure to plan your schedule well.
You never know—a simple twist of fate might lead you to discover an unexpected masterpiece.

Finally, amidst these busy days, I would like to introduce a chicken that unexpectedly visited our shop.
It is a truly dignified chicken figurine crafted by the 76th Rieimon Kaneshige.
It is a powerful masterpiece that makes one stand up straight just by looking at it.
Like this chicken, we must stand tall and composed, no matter how busy things get.
