Hello everyone, how are you all doing?
Today, I’m introducing a sake cup featuring the *kase-goma* (matte ash glaze) with the sweet, scarlet clay texture that many of you likely associate with Rokuro Nakamura.
This piece is slightly older than the three sake cups I introduced previously,
and I think it would be interesting to compare the subtle differences in his technique.

It has a magnificent color, like a ripe persimmon.
The sweet quality of the clay is sure to elevate the taste of your sake many times over.

The deep, moss-green taste of the *kase-goma* is wonderful.
I feel it is precisely because of this understated *kase-goma* that the clay texture shines all the more.

Compared to the previous three works, the undulation of the rim is somewhat more subdued.

This is the foot. As expected, the movement here is also somehow calmer than in the previous three pieces.
The crispness of the spatula marks where it leaves the clay after circling around is superb.
What did you think?
The origin of the Nakamura family's brilliant, vivid scarlet can be found right here.
As this piece becomes an even more magnificent scarlet when moistened with sake,
its relaxed form will surely provide a supreme user experience.
