We have received a wonderful postcard from a customer who purchased a flattened sake bottle (henko tokkuri) by Tamon Kaneshige.
Photography is their hobby, and they made a postcard featuring a photo they took of the sake bottle themselves.
At first, I thought a solo exhibition announcement had arrived, and the atmospheric photo made me want to learn from them.
I believe they must have captured their favorite angle of the piece,
and it allowed me to catch a glimpse of a new side of the work through a different perspective.
I am truly delighted to see the work receive such affection.
