Hello everyone, how are you doing?
We have received new arrivals from the latest kiln firing by Yoshiteru Koriki.
His recent solo exhibition at Hankyu Umeda was a great success and finished smoothly,
with almost all of the sake vessels reportedly selling out.
We would like to introduce a few of the newly arrived sake vessels.

1. A "rolling kiln" transformation sake bottle (tokkuri) subjected to intense ash deposit.
The tortoise-shell pattern of flowing "goma" (ash glaze) creates a magnificent scene.
"It was fired very well this time," Mr. Koriki noted,
and the heavy ash-covered areas melted at high heat, leaving a silvery, intensely fired finish around the base.
Rim 3.4cm x Body 9.7cm x 9.3cm x Height 14.0cm Sold

2. A "kase" (matte) kiln-transformed tokkuri with a beautiful contrast between deep green matte tones and soft, moist "nuke" (glaze-free areas).
The kase surface is fine-textured and very pleasant to the touch.
It features small nuke patches throughout; the small one on the rim, in particular,
will surely show a seductive scene when dampened by a drop of sake.
Rim 4.0cm x Body 10.0cm x 9.7cm x Height 15.2cm Sold

3. A sake cup (sakazuki) with the same characteristic firing as the rolling kiln tokkuri.
Its appeal lies in the magnificently melted, viscous goma scenery that pairs with the tokkuri.
The interior reveals a profound world of ash-heavy accumulation.
Diameter 8.4cm x 7.8cm x Height 4.2cm Sold

4. A kase kiln-transformed sakazuki showcasing a new, unprecedented form.
The boldly distorted triangular rim makes a strong impact.
The well-fired kase goma is excellent, but the small accent of "nuke" in the interior is particularly wonderful.
Diameter 8.1cm x 8.1cm x Height 4.1cm Sold

5. A kase kiln-transformed sakazuki with a striking, vivid scarlet color reminiscent of roaring flames.
The kase surface shares the bright, slightly whitish hue of the scarlet.
The rhythmic carving around the waist also ties the piece together beautifully.
Diameter 6.5cm x 6.4cm x Height 5.5cm Sold
