Description
This is the latest Bizen sake cup by Jumpei Kaneshige, the eldest son of Kosuke Kaneshige, a leading master of the Kaneshige lineage. Crafted from meticulously refined clay, this piece features a profound landscape despite its orthodox firing. It is slightly small, fitting perfectly in the palm of the hand, with a pleasant texture created by the subtle ridges of the charred sesame glaze. The most distinctive feature is the *hidasuki* (fire-cord) pattern in the interior, which makes gazing into the cup after pouring sake a delightful experience.
Signed wooden box (shihozan) included
