Description
This is the latest Bizen sake cup by Junpei Kaneshige, the eldest son of Kosuke Kaneshige, the leading master of the Kaneshige lineage. The beautiful contrast between the moist, vibrant "kase-goma" (dry sesame glaze) and the soft-hued "hi-iro" (scarlet flame marks) makes this a piece that invites you to soak it with sake and use it daily. The gently tapered body fits naturally in the fingertips, and the texture of the kase-goma is incredibly pleasing when held. The meticulously refined kase glaze is elegant, exuding grace and stature along with craftsmanship that extends to every detail.
Includes signed wooden box (shiho-san style)
