Description
This is a new sake cup by Go Kaneshige, marking a new milestone in his career following the construction of his anagama kiln in Kugui. The fine-textured *kase-goma* (dry sesame glaze) shines faintly as if it were wet. Furthermore, the earthy body is accented with gold tones, and the *shiso* (perilla-colored) glaze gleams like metal, serving as a highlight of the piece.
