Description

This Bizen sake cup is by Yoshinobu Morimoto, an artist with an exceptional aesthetic sense who is constantly evolving in his approach to clay, firing, and form. The surface, which appears both black and purple depending on the angle, features subtle variations in tone across different areas, drawing the viewer into its depth. The quality of the clay in the interior is particularly magnificent; its stunning wine-red hue is a welcome feature for a sake cup. Combined with the slightly wide interior, it allows you to swirl your sake gently, ensuring a delightful drinking experience where both aroma and color can be savored. Signed wooden box (shiho-san) included.
