Description

This Bizen sake cup is the work of Takashi Baba, who was born in Inbe and has loved Bizen ware since childhood, finding his life’s joy in crafting pieces and firing kilns. The highlight is the magnificent kiln-altered appearance, featuring a well-fired, glossy black surface generously coated in *goma* (ash glaze). It is neither too small nor too large; this versatile size makes it a perfect gift that is sure to please anyone. The design is full of the originality characteristic of Baba-sensei, such as the uniquely carved, meandering foot. Paper box
